Mindy & Brett’s Wedding, Lange Farm, Dade City Wedding Photography

Mindy and Brett had been waiting an extra long time for their Big Day to arrive… and man-o-man did they show their wedding guests a great time and create an awesome experience. When we first arrived at the Garden House my nose was joyfully gifted with the smell of the most beautiful flowers… and the arrangements swept across the space like a miniature sunflower tree forrest.. The wedding ceremony was perfectly orchestrated at a local Dade City church only minutes away from their reception venue, Lange Farm, and full of lots of small town, rustic charm… It was magical!  And it didn’t stop there…. so many fun little things were presented throughout their evening that made the day so full of life, love and fun entertainment, like cowbells and a s’more pit and yummy cupcakes… See for yourself:)

Jamie & Robbie’s Wedding at the Lake House, Odessa, FL

When I decided last March that I was going to collect shoes for orphans in West Africa and Ecuador I had no idea what a huge outpouring of support I would receive. Something as simple as a little Facebook post to my friends landed me into some really amazing opportunities at really awesome schools which lead to over 3,600 pairs of shoes collected… but never did I think I’d get a wedding booking from such a project… Welp- God is pretty cool and put me right in the hands of Jamie’s mom at a shoe drive I was collecting at her school and it just so happened her daughter was engaged to a really awesome guy only a few weeks prior to that… The Rest is History! Jamie and Robbie met me for the consultation and we hit it off… She also has a heart for Africa and spent some time in the same places I’ve been and was also in the beginning stages of starting a non-profit, teaching children with special needs photography.:)In short- We became instant friends.

Robbie and Jamie got married at her parents lake home in beautiful Odessa. She is the youngest (and only girl) of 4 kids and all of her older brothers had since gotten married on the same grounds.. so it was extremely humbling to be the last person to photograph such an important series in their family’s history.

Jamie and Robbie had a pre-game prayer before the ceremony began with everyone watching… not a dry eye in the place.:)

It wouldn’t be right to not give appropriate acknowledgement to all of the children that made their wedding day possible… Jamie and Robbie have a total of 7 nieces and nephews, all quite small and super cute! They made the day extra fun to photograph and that couldn’t have been made possible without Jamie’s amazingly fun-loving brothers and sister-in-laws… Gotta love this family!

Marissa & Michael’s Pooch Friendly Session- Downtown Tampa

I’ve had my photography business since 2009 and practically from the dawn of its existence Marissa Moss has been apart of my photo life. I remember the first time I sheepishly asked her to do coffee, before I was apart of any social groups or photo clubs, and she accepted to my amazement… She has always given me 100% of her support, love and business insight, taught me so much and provided me with countless resources to improve our craft and business upon…  so when the time came to do her family photos I was honored to be on the other side of the camera capturing the spectacular chemistry of her and her husband and 2 pups…. Thanks Marisa for being such an awesome photo friend and for encouraging my hipster, free loving, traveling ways!

Marissa is also a pretty amazing wedding and portrait photographer and you can check out her work at www.marissa-moss.com!

Katie & Jon’s Engagement- USF Engagement Photography

I met Jon and Katie a year and a half ago at my cousin’s wedding… They were super sweet, super cute and super in love… I had a feeling then they would make it to this day and sure ’nuff… They are getting married very soon and I couldn’t be more happy for them… They both graduated from USF so the backdrop for their session couldn’t have been more perfect! (One minor detail…. I broke my sandal within the first 15 minutes of their shoot and completed the session doing a ‘One Flop Shuffle’… but no biggie, I’m a trend starter like that)
