Renee & CJ’s Wedding- Sunken Gardens, St. Pete/Davis Island Garden Club Wedding Photography

‘April showers bring May flowers’ is that how it goes? Couldn’t be any more far from the truth for this lovely April Garden wedding that Renee and CJ put together! Just saying! hahahah!

Renee and CJ’s Big Day was nestled in the midst of some of the most gorgeous floral assortments this side of the Tropical Mississippi could provide. The Ceremony was held at the ever so rad, and nostalgic, Sunken Gardens in St. Petersburg and then we jetted over the bridge to Davis Island Garden Club for the intimately magical reception overlooking the downtown skyline and river waterways. What a fun crowd, couldn’t have asked for a better time thanks to you guys!

And lets not forget some of the funny outtakes! You’re totally welcome CJ!:)

Stephanie & Joe’s Destination Wedding@ Lake Lure- Lake Lure, NC Wedding Photography

It is always fun to step outside of our normal photo stomping grounds and get away to a new scene, with new sights and new climates. When I found out Stephanie and Joe got engaged, I just knew we were in for a great trip to their wedding destination. It was a year prior to their engagement that we photographed another really awesome Destination wedding in Vermont, for our cousin Lo and Max’s nuptials.. When I returned home from that trip, Stephanie snagged me and said in a nutshell ‘SHE STOLE MY IDEA!!!’ hahaha! Stephanie always wanted a nice snow laden, mountain scene for her BIG DAY, and boy howdy she was gonna have one (minus the snow, but the cold was good enough!)

Nestled in the middle of windy, non-floridian friendly roadways, where wild turkeys & deer run free, waiting to be assaulted by none other than my husband, and hills that make you wish your car came standard with roll bars, lies Rumbling Bald Resort at Lake Lure. The property was overflowing with acres of gorgeous mountainside, golf courses, creeks, friendly North Carolinian’s, wildlife and thousands of vacation homes scattered about (within a few miles of the placid Lake Lure) all awaiting for the perfect couples to plan their perfect BIG Day at their perfect place. Funny enough, Stephanie and Joe actually came across the location on accident, don’t the best things happen in life by accident:)Even though their Wedding Weekend was loaded with lots of fun, unexpected stories, like the entire family coming down with the stomach bug, including the groom, and the rainy start… We couldn’t have asked for a greater wedding story to capture! Thank you guys for letting us come along for the ride!:)

Such a beautiful location photographed amazingly<3 Love.

Sabrina & Ryan’s Plant City Engagement

One of my bestest friend, Jennifer Lopez- Yes, I know, I’m totally friends with a super star, has often referred to me as being just ‘extra.’ Her definition of this ‘extra’ adjective is to be over the top, or extra energy… Fitting for sure… and when it comes to our bride, Sabrina, she totally fits the bill too.:)Being a lady of many hats, teacher, blogger, crafter, baker, puppy lover, I knew we shared a lot in common, so you can imagine my excitement when she began planning this rad set for their engagement photos. I would get emails with Cupcake Ferris Wheels and Quilt options to choose from  and when push came to shove- Homegirl BROUGHT IT! I just loved, loved, loved, everything about Sabrina and Ryan’s engagement, their props, their gorgeous faces, and most of all, their incredible untapped need to be cheesy (Just like me!!) See for yourself! …

Lindsey & Josh’s Downtown Tampa Engagement- Pet Friendly

Lindsey and Josh are Rock Stars, plain and simple: They own 2 really cool dogs, they wear super cool clothes and their personalities shine no matter where they’re at. It was such a fun evening shooting their engagement session at Curtis Hixon Park. We were discouraged at first, because it rained the whole way there, but they said ‘Lets DO IT!’ and we said ‘OK!’ and heaven opened up their sky’s and all was well. Check it out!

Last but not least, the fun dipping pic… If you could caption Josh’s words below.. what would it be!? HAHAHAHHA! This was the funniest shot to end the evening with! LOVE IT!
